Registrations for the last Writing World Cup of the year are now open!

The Writing World Cup is an open invitation to write. You don't have to be a writer or have experience, just wanting to join and being committed to write a text per day between November 1st and 6th, based on writing prompts proposed by writers and artists, is enough.

Juries of the VI Writing World Cup:

General category: Peter Orner (United States), Verónica Stigger (Brazil) and Daniel Umpi (Uruguay).

Kids category: Juliana Muñoz (Colombia), Sofía Rhei (Spain) and Adriana Fernández (Argentina).

Registration deadline: October 27

Intense weeks of writing

The World Cup is divided into three categories: general (+19), teenagers (13 to 18) and kids (up to 12). Each participant writes 3,000 characters for two weeks following, each day, a writing prompt (1,500 for the kids category).

Although the texts are written individually, the World Cup is a team game. You can register joining a group that already exists, or do it individually (in this case, we will assign you a team).

After the writing stage, each team submits a text that will go on to the final evaluation instances.
